Hill Country Horseback Riding

beThe Dixie Dude offers some of the best horseback riding in the Bandera area. Our scenic rides wind and climb all over the rugged and unspoiled 725 acres of the ranch, with beautiful views of the surrounding Texas Hill Country.

• Your guest ranch package includes two horseback rides daily (riding experience not necessary)
• The rides last approximately an hour and are guided by experienced Cowboys and/or Cowgirls
• 250 lb. weight limit
• Children under age 6 ride double with an adult
• Helmets are not required for riding; however, if you prefer to wear one, please bring your own.
• Horseback rides are taken out at a walking pace
• Riding Lessons and clinics may also be available at an additional charge and offered to overnight guests only. These arrangements may be made once the guest arrives on The Ranch.
• More advanced and sunset rides may be available for teens and adults at an extra charge, subject to availability and offered to overnight guests only. These arrangements may be made once the guest arrives on The Ranch.
• We offer horseback riding to non-overnight guests when available. You may call us at 830-796-7771 or e-mail us at [email protected] to check availability and schedule day rides. Only a day or two notice is necessary to schedule day rides.

RATES (FOR NON-OVERNIGHT GUESTS):
$50.00 per person for one hour
$60.00 for double riders (with children under 6 years of age)
